Jim Gottlieb is 35Sound's UK consultant & has worked on a number of projects.
Based in London, he has a long history in A&R and has run labels for BMG (now Sony BMG) and Warner
Music, Jim now has an independent label through the Beggars Group.
Jim has been a music consultant to UK terrestrial broadcasters Channel Four
and Channel 5. At Channel Four Jim brought in the David Arnold film "Shaken
and Stirred" about the music of Bond movies. This led to David being
commissioned to score the Bond films "The World Is Not Enough", "Tomorrow
Never Dies", "Die Another Day" and "Casino Royale". At Channel 5 Jim was
responsible for the Spice Girls launch of the Channel and commissioned Damon
Albarn (Blur) to write theme music for their sports coverage.
